JJ Redick says his heated exchange with Luka Doncic during the Los Angeles Lakers game at the Golden State Warriors was “very normal” and nothing unusual.
Footage showed Doncic appearing to avoid a fist bump before the pair exchanged words on the sideline, a moment that quickly went viral. But Redick insisted there was no issue, saying their relationship is strong and that such conversations are common in competitive games.
Doncic later returned to score a game-high 26 points, and followed it up with 27 in a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, as the Lakers secured back-to-back victories.
