Former Indian cricket stars Rahul Dravid and Ravichandran Ashwin are part of a group buying a Glasgow team in the new European T20 Premier League.
The six-team tournament will take place this summer. Another team in Rotterdam is expected to be bought by South African investors led by former players Faf du Plessis, Heinrich Klaasen and Jonty Rhodes.
The new teams are likely to be officially announced later this month.
Franchises in Amsterdam, Belfast and Edinburgh were already sold earlier this year to investors from Australia and New Zealand.
The only team yet to be sold is the one based in Dublin, although several groups — including owners from The Hundred— are interested.
