Teenage Bohemians midfielder Aoibhe Brennan has received her first call-up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad for their World Cup 2027 qualifiers against Poland in April.
The 18-year-old, who has already played for the Republic of Ireland under-19 team, has impressed with Bohs this season. Manager Carla Ward said Brennan stood out to her and plays beyond her age.
Jess Ziu and Lily Agg return to the squad, while some players are missing due to injury. Ireland will face Poland away in Gdansk before hosting them at the Aviva Stadium a few days later.
Ward said Poland will be a tough opponent, especially with top striker Ewa Pajor, and warned her team they must work hard to win.
