Wales captain Dewi Lake says a win is “just around the corner” after a 27‑17 Six Nations defeat to Ireland women's team in Dublin.
Despite losing, Lake praised the team’s performance under coach Steve Tandy, calling it their best in his era. Wales had earlier narrowly lost 26‑23 to Scotland women's team and will face Italy women's team next weekend in Cardiff.
