Kyle Walker has retired from international football with England national football team after winning 96 caps.
The 35-year-old defender, who currently plays for Burnley F.C., represented England at five major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022 and the UEFA European Championship in 2016, 2021 and 2024.
Walker made his England debut in 2011 against Spain national football team and became a key player under former manager Gareth Southgate, helping England reach the Euro finals in 2021 and 2024.
The former Manchester City F.C., Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and Sheffield United F.C. defender said he was proud of his international career and felt it was the right time to close that chapter.
