Hürzeler was frustrated by what he saw as Arsenal’s time-wasting and defensive approach, saying he prefers his teams to focus on playing football rather than using such tactics.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta defended his side, praising his players’ competitiveness and dismissing the criticism.
Despite complaints about their style, Arsenal secured another narrow victory to strengthen their push for their first Premier League title since the era of Arsene Wenger’s famous “Invincibles”.
