Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa has returned to the Italy squad after two years for the World Cup play-off against Northern Ireland.
His last game for Italy was at Euro 2024. Coach Gennaro Gattuso included him in a 28-man squad as Italy aim to qualify for the World Cup after missing the last two tournaments.
New call-ups include Marco Palestra, while Niccolo Pisilli and Giorgio Scalvini also return. Guglielmo Vicario is not included.
If Italy win, they will face Wales or Bosnia-Herzegovina for a place in the World Cup.
