
Arsenal got lucky to survive a tough match at Brighton, but Bukayo Saka’s early deflected goal was enough to give them a vital 1-0 win and extend their Premier League lead to seven points.
Brighton dominated much of the game and had several chances, including a missed header from Mats Wieffer, but couldn’t find a way past goalkeeper David Raya. Arsenal’s win was scrappy, but it came at a crucial time as Manchester City dropped points with a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest.
