Brazilian teenager Rayan kept up his strong start in the Premier League as Bournemouth came from behind to beat 10-man Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium. The youngster scored for the second game in a row after joining from Vasco de Gama last month.
Everton went ahead in the first half through Iliman Ndiaye’s penalty and had the better chances early on. But Bournemouth turned the game around quickly in the second half. Rayan headed in an equaliser, and just minutes later Amine Adli put the visitors in front.
Everton’s problems got worse when defender Jake O’Brien was sent off for a foul on Adli. Bournemouth stayed in control after that and saw out the win.
The victory extends Bournemouth’s unbeaten run to six Premier League games, while Everton are now without a home league win in their last five matches.
