Rangers have completed the signing of striker Ryan Naderi from German third-tier side Hansa Rostock for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who was born in Dresden, has signed a long-term contract at Ibrox. Since joining Hansa from Borussia Monchengladbach in August 2024, Naderi has scored 13 goals and provided nine assists in 45 appearances. This season alone, he has eight goals and five assists in 18 games.

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl said Naderi has shown he can score goals and create chances, adding that the club believes he has strong potential to improve further.

Naderi said he is eager to make the most of the move as he steps up to the Scottish Premiership.

The striker holds German and Bulgarian citizenship and is also eligible to play for the Czech Republic. He began his career at Dynamo Dresden before progressing through Monchengladbach’s academy.

Naderi becomes Rangers’ fourth signing of the January transfer window, joining Andreas Skov Olsen, Tochi Chukwuani and Tuur Rommens. On the same day, Joe Rothwell left Rangers permanently for Sheffield United, while Clinton Nsiala joined Westerlo on loan.
