Pakistan’s Farhan says Hundred deals are not in our hands

0

Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan says whether Pakistan players get picked in the Hundred auction is “not in our hands.”

Farhan, 29, is the leading run-scorer at the T20 World Cup and one of more than 60 Pakistan players registered for the inaugural Hundred auction next month. He remains hopeful despite reports that Indian-owned franchises—MI London, Manchester Super Giants, Sunrisers Leeds, and Southern Brave—are not considering Pakistani players.

Farhan’s base price is £50,000, and he says: “The Hundred is one of the best leagues. So I hope for the best.” Thirteen of Pakistan’s 15-strong World Cup squad have registered, including Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Saim Ayub, with some players listed at £100,000.
