Michael O'Neill has been appointed Blackburn Rovers boss until the end of the season, meaning he will juggle his role with Northern Ireland national football team.
O’Neill’s backroom staff at Ewood Park includes former Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis and ex-Blackburn and Manchester United defender Phil Jones. He will focus on helping Blackburn avoid relegation from the Championship while also preparing Northern Ireland for next month’s World Cup play-off semi-final against Italy.
O’Neill thanked the Irish FA for their support and said he is determined to deliver strong performances for Blackburn in the season’s final stretch.
