Mandhana shines as RCB beat Capitals to win the WPL title

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won their second Women’s Premier League (WPL) title after pulling off a record run chase against Delhi Capitals, who lost their fourth final in a row.

Chasing 204, RCB reached the target with two balls left thanks to a brilliant partnership between captain Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll. Mandhana scored 87 off 41 balls, while Voll added 79, as the pair put on a record 165-run stand.

Mandhana finished the tournament as the top run-scorer, while RCB kept scoring quickly throughout the chase. Although a few late wickets made things tense, Radha Yadav hit two crucial boundaries in the final over to seal the win.

Delhi Capitals had earlier posted 203-4, the highest total ever in a WPL final, with strong batting performances across their top order. However, it was not enough to stop RCB’s aggressive chase.
