Kerolin scored a brilliant hat-trick as Manchester City thrashed Chelsea, putting themselves firmly in control of the Women's Super League title.
City went 2-0 up by half-time, with Kerolin opening the scoring and Khadija Shaw adding a second. Kerolin then ran the length of the pitch, outpacing Keira Walsh, and chipped the goalkeeper for her second goal, before completing her hat-trick with a close-range finish. Vivianne Mediema added a fifth goal, while Chelsea’s Alyssa Thompson scored a late consolation.
The win stretches City’s lead at the top to 11 points over second-placed Manchester United, while Chelsea fall 12 points behind in third—their furthest from the top since the 2018-19 season.
