Bruno Guimaraes is set to miss up to two months after suffering a hamstring injury during Newcastle United’s win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder, who had only just returned from an ankle issue, now faces a lengthy spell out — a major blow for manager Eddie Howe. Newcastle have struggled without their captain in the Premier League, failing to win any of the 10 league games he has missed since joining in 2022.
His absence comes ahead of a key run of fixtures, starting with an FA Cup tie against Aston Villa.
