A strong first-half performance helped West Ham cruise past Sunderland and move to within two points of safety in the Premier League.
Goals from Crysencio Summerville, Jarrod Bowen and Mateus Fernandes gave the Hammers a 3-0 half-time lead, their best at home since July 2020.
Sunderland pulled one back through Brian Brobbey, but West Ham stayed in control and secured a comfortable win.
The victory makes it three wins in a row for West Ham in all competitions and keeps the pressure on Nottingham Forestand Leeds United in the relegation battle.
