Chris Mepham scored in the 95th minute to earn West Bromwich Albion a point at Derby County, stopping the club from matching a record 11 straight away league defeats.
Derby looked set for the win after Patrick Agyemang scored just before half-time, taking advantage of a mistake by West Brom debut goalkeeper Max O’Leary.
West Brom pushed forward late on and finally got their reward in stoppage time when Mepham headed in from a corner, giving boss Eric Ramsay his first point since taking charge.
The draw ends a long run of away losses for the Baggies, while Derby missed the chance to move into the Championship play-off places.
West Brom’s night was slightly dampened by injuries to Karlan Grant and Krystian Bielik, who were both forced off.
