Tottenham winger Mohammed Kudus will be sidelined until after the March international break due to a thigh injury. The 25-year-old Ghana forward had to leave Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland after just 19 minutes, limping off the pitch.
Spurs manager Thomas Frank confirmed the injury affects the tendon in Kudus’s quadriceps, saying he expects the player to return only after the international break. This means Kudus will likely be available again when Premier League action resumes on 11 April.
Kudus joined Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham last summer in a £55m deal and has already scored two goals in the Premier League. His absence is a blow for Spurs, who will be hoping he can return fit for the final stretch of the season.
