Thomas Frank hailed Tottenham’s “incredible” achievement after a 2-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt, securing a spot in the Champions League last 16.
Goals from Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke in Germany meant Spurs avoided a February play-off tie. Despite being 14th in the Premier League and facing fan criticism earlier in the season, Frank’s side dominated the match.
“The players showed great character. Finishing fourth in the group is a big step and incredible,” said Frank. Spurs now turn their focus back to improving their league position before returning to Europe in March.
