Scotland have brought back experienced players Jonny Gray and Dave Cherry for this year’s Six Nations, while also giving chances to young Edinburgh pair Liam McConnell and Freddy Douglas.
Head coach Gregor Townsend said the squad has a good mix of experience and players in form, including those returning from injury like Zander Fagerson and Huw Jones.
Cherry, who was Scotland’s first-choice hooker in the 2025 Six Nations, returns after missing recent squads, while lock Gray, who has 81 caps, is back after a spell playing in France.
Townsend said both players bring important experience and reliability as Scotland prepare for the championship.
