Fermin Lopez scored twice as Barcelona beat Slavia Prague to improve their chances of going straight into the Champions League last 16.

Playing in freezing conditions, Slavia Prague took an early lead, but Lopez hit back with two goals to put Barcelona ahead. Slavia briefly drew level before half-time when Robert Lewandowski accidentally scored an own goal.

Barcelona took control in the second half. Substitutes Dani Olmo and Marcus Rashford made an instant impact, with Olmo scoring from distance and Rashford setting up Lewandowski for Barca’s fourth goal.

The win knocked Slavia Prague out of the competition, while Barcelona moved up to ninth and remain in the hunt for a top-eight finish.
