Fulham snatched a dramatic draw with Liverpool after Harrison Reed scored a stunning equaliser in the 97th minute at Craven Cottage. His long-range strike cancelled out Cody Gakpo’s late goal, which had looked set to win the game for Liverpool.
Fulham had taken the lead through Harry Wilson against his former club, before Liverpool hit back with goals from Florian Wirtz and then Gakpo in stoppage time. Wirtz’s goal was initially ruled out for offside but was later allowed after a VAR check.
Just when Liverpool thought they had secured all three Premier League points, Reed picked up the ball from distance and fired it into the top corner, sparking wild celebrations among the home fans.
The draw extends Liverpool’s unbeaten run to nine matches, while Fulham are now unbeaten in five games.
