Fulham have signed Norway winger Oscar Bobb from Manchester City for £27m.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal at Craven Cottage and will wear the number 14 shirt. Bobb said he is excited about the move and spoke to Fulham midfielder and Norway team-mate Sander Berge before agreeing to join.
Bobb came through Manchester City’s academy and made 47 first-team appearances, scoring three goals and providing four assists. City will keep a 20% sell-on clause and the right to match any future offers for the winger.
The move comes after Bobb dropped down the pecking order at City following the arrival of Antoine Semenyo. Pep Guardiola admitted Bobb was open to leaving.
Despite interest from Borussia Dortmund, Bobb chose Fulham, where he will link up again with Berge. He has six caps for Norway this year and helped them qualify for the World Cup, after missing much of last season through injury.
