Fulham Negotiating Deal for Man City winger Bobb

Fulham are in talks with Manchester City over a potential move for winger Oscar Bobb.

The 22-year-old Norway international has slipped down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola following City’s £62.5m signing of Antoine Semenyo earlier this month. Sources have told BBC Sport that discussions have taken place between the clubs, although Fulham are yet to submit a formal offer.

Bobb has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and may be allowed to leave City before the transfer window closes, either on loan or in a permanent deal. Increased competition on the right wing, with Semenyo joining Brazilian Savinho, has limited Bobb’s opportunities.

He has made 15 appearances for City this season but has not scored. His most recent outing came on 17 December against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, when he was forced off injured inside the opening 20 minutes.

City face Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Guardiola cast doubt on Bobb’s fitness, saying: “He says he is not fit, so he is not fit.”

Fulham, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last seven matches under Marco Silva. They sit 11th in the Premier League table and have reached the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Bobb has earned six caps for Norway this year, playing a role in their qualification for this summer’s World Cup. A move to Craven Cottage would see him link up with fellow Norwegian Sander Berge.

The winger missed most of last season after fracturing a bone in his leg during training in August 2024.
