England want Kansas City as their base for the World Cup

0

England are set to base themselves at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City for this year’s World Cup.

The Football Association (FA) has requested the Missouri facility as their preferred daily training base, though FIFA is yet to officially confirm all teams’ locations.

England’s Group L matches will take place in Arlington (Texas), Foxborough (Massachusetts), and East Rutherford (New Jersey). The team, led by head coach Thomas Tuchel, will travel from Kansas City for each game and return afterward.

Before the tournament, England will hold a pre-tournament camp in Florida and play two warm-up matches. Plans for the knockout stage are still flexible, with the possibility of relocating closer to game venues.
