Michael Carrick has not ruled out Manchester United making moves before Monday’s transfer deadline. United have been linked with midfielders like Ruben Neves and may also look to cover for Patrick Dorgu, who will be out for several weeks with injury.
Carrick stayed non-committal on potential signings but said, “Never say never… a lot can happen.” Joshua Zirkzee, who recently recovered from a minor injury, is available for Sunday’s game against Fulham amid speculation about a possible move to Juventus.
Carrick also acknowledged that Bruno Fernandes’ future is “on the agenda a little bit” but said it will be addressed later in the season.
