Brighton are expected to reject Nottingham Forest’s £20m bid for midfielder Yasin Ayari.
Forest, who are battling relegation, are looking to strengthen before the transfer window closes and have made an offer for the Sweden international. However, sources say Brighton are not willing to sell.
Ayari joined Brighton from AIK Stockholm in 2023 and has made 66 appearances, scoring six goals, with loan spells at Blackburn and Coventry.
Forest have already signed striker Lorenzo Lucca on loan from Napoli and are also monitoring Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa after John Victor was ruled out for the season.
