Bayern Munich have opened talks with Harry Kane about extending his contract, according to sporting director Max Eberl.
The England captain joined Bayern from Tottenham in August 2023 on a four-year deal and has been in outstanding form, scoring 119 goals in 126 games and winning the Bundesliga title in the 2024-25 season – the first major trophy of his career.
Kane has already scored 34 goals this season and is closing in on Robert Lewandowski’s Bundesliga scoring record. Club officials say Kane is happy in Munich and there is no rush to finalise a decision.
