England’s prop problems have worsened ahead of the Six Nations, with Fin Baxter ruled out of the tournament.

The Harlequins prop, who has played in England’s last 18 matches, will miss the Six Nations after needing foot surgery. There will be no replacement called up, leaving Ellis Genge, Bevan Rodd and Emmanuel Iyogun as England’s loose-head options.

England have also already lost Will Stuart and Asher Opoku-Fordjour, adding to concerns in the front row ahead of their opening match against Wales on 7 February.

Meanwhile, Jack Kenningham has been added to the squad to provide cover in the back row, while Ben Currycontinues his injury recovery.
