Barcelona midfielder Pedri will be out for about a month after picking up a hamstring injury, the club has confirmed.
The 23-year-old was forced off in the second half of Barcelona’s 4-2 Champions League win over Slavia Prague on Wednesday.
Tests later showed he had a muscle injury in his right hamstring.
Pedri will miss Barcelona’s final Champions League group game against Copenhagen next week, along with several league matches against Real Oviedo, Elche, Girona and Mallorca.
If Barcelona beat Albacete in the Copa del Rey on February 3, he would also miss the first leg of the semi-final the following week.
