Australia captain Alyssa Healy will retire from all forms of cricket after the upcoming series against India.
The 35-year-old wicket-keeper has scored over 7,000 runs and made 275 dismissals across all formats, and famously led Australia to a 16-0 Ashes whitewash of England in 2025.
Healy won the World Cup twice, including scoring 170 in the 2022 World Cup final against England, and also lifted the T20 World Cup six times.
She said the decision was emotional but felt right, admitting she no longer has the same competitive drive, while calling it an honour to represent Australia one last time.
Healy, who is married to fast bowler Mitchell Starc and is the niece of Australian great Ian Healy, will be celebrated during Australia’s Test, ODI and T20 series against India in February and March.
