Arsenal are in advanced talks with Barcelona full-back Ona Batlle about a summer move. The 26-year-old, whose contract at Barcelona ends this season, is free to speak with other clubs.
The Gunners hope to sign Batlle on a free transfer, adding to their summer plans that also include England midfielder Georgia Stanway from Bayern Munich.
Batlle, a former Manchester United player, helped Spain win the World Cup in 2023, reach the Euro 2025 final, and was key in Barcelona’s 2024 Women’s Champions League win. Widely seen as one of the world’s best defenders, she is reportedly keen to return to the Women’s Super League.
