Great Britain’s Zoe Atkin came close to winning gold but finished with silver at the freeski halfpipe World Cup in China.
She was in the lead after her first run with a high score, ahead of China’s Eileen Gu. However, Gu scored higher on her second run to move into first place, while Atkin couldn’t better her own score.
The silver medal was Atkin’s 11th World Cup podium finish. Meanwhile, 15-year-old Indra Brown from Australiafinished third, earning her first ever World Cup medal on her debut.
