Harry Wilson played a starring role as Fulham beat Burnley, setting up two goals and scoring another to hand the hosts a seventh straight Premier League defeat.
Fulham went ahead early when Wilson’s low corner slipped through Burnley’s defence and Emile Smith Rowe finished from close range. Burnley briefly hit back through Lesley Ugochukwu, but Fulham quickly regained the lead when Calvin Bassey was left unmarked to head in after a cross from Wilson.
Burnley had chances to get back into the game, but Fulham punished their sloppy defending again when Wilson curled a fine shot into the corner to make it 3-1.
A late goal from Oliver Sonne gave Burnley some hope, but it came too late to change the outcome. The defeat leaves Burnley still in trouble near the bottom of the table, while Fulham move up to 13th and ease their relegation worries.
