Despite missing several key players through injury, PSG raced into a 2-0 lead through Gonçalo Ramos and teenage winger Quentin Ndjantou. Metz pulled one back just before half-time, keeping the game alive.
Substitute Désiré Doué restored PSG’s two-goal cushion in the second half, but Metz refused to give up and scored a stunning late goal to set up a tense finish.
PSG held on to secure the win and go top of the table, while Metz remain bottom and struggling near the foot of Ligue 1.
