Kieffer Moore scored twice as Wrexham came from behind to beat his former club Sheffield United 5-3 in a dramatic Championship match at the Stok Cae Ras.
Sheffield United went in front early when Patrick Bamford scored with a volley, but Wrexham hit back just two minutes later after Tyler Bindon accidentally put the ball into his own net. Bamford then scored again and Callum O’Hare added a header to give United a 3-1 lead.
Moore pulled one back with a header before half-time, keeping Wrexham in the game. Early in the second half, Ryan Longman headed in the equaliser to make it 3-3.
Wrexham completed the comeback when Moore scored again, putting them ahead for the first time. Josh Windass then sealed the win with a penalty late on, ending Wrexham’s five-game winless run.
The match was fast-paced and full of chances, with both goalkeepers making key saves and Sheffield United hitting the crossbar late on. In the end, Moore’s double proved decisive as Wrexham claimed an impressive home victory over Sheffield United.
