Bayern Munich ended 2025 in style with a comfortable 4-0 win over Heidenheim in their final Bundesliga match of the year. First-half goals from Josip Stanisic and Michael Olise put Bayern firmly in control early on.
Stanisic scored from close range, while Olise finished neatly inside the box. Late in the game, Luis Diaz made it 3-0 by heading in a cross from Stanisic, before Harry Kane sealed the win in stoppage time with a calm finish into the bottom corner.
Kane captained the team with regular skipper Manuel Neuer sidelined by a hamstring injury. The victory leaves Bayern nine points clear of second-placed Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table.
Under Vincent Kompany, Bayern have now led the Bundesliga for a full calendar year for the first time, and their nine-point advantage is the second-largest ever at this stage of the season. The league returns after the winter break on January 9, when Eintracht Frankfurt host Dortmund.
