Teenager Archie Gray scored his first senior goal to give Tottenham a narrow win over Crystal Palace, helping Spurs bounce back after two straight Premier League defeats. The 19-year-old tapped in from close range three minutes before half-time after Palace failed to deal with a corner, with Randal Kolo Muani and Richarlison winning key aerial duels beforehand.
Tottenham came close to a bigger win, but Wilson Odobert hit the post, and Richarlison had two goals ruled out for offside. Palace had some first-half chances through Jean-Philippe Mateta, Justin Devenny, and Maxence Lacroix, but they couldn’t score and suffered their third straight league loss.
The victory lifted Tottenham to 11th in the Premier League, just one point behind ninth-placed Crystal Palace.
