Glasgow Warriors pulled off one of the greatest wins in their history by coming back from 21-0 down to beat Toulouse in a dramatic Champions Cup match at Scotstoun.
Toulouse, six-time champions, looked in complete control in terrible weather conditions. Antoine Dupont, back after a long injury lay-off, scored early and played a key role as Toulouse raced into a big half-time lead, with Kalvin Gourgues scoring twice. At the break, the game seemed over.
But Glasgow came out for the second half like a different team. Josh McKay’s try gave them belief, and the momentum completely shifted. Tries from Gregor Brown and Sione Tuipulotu followed, lifting the crowd and dragging the Warriors level.
With Toulouse suddenly on the back foot, Glasgow kept pushing. A powerful maul ended with Gregor Hiddleston crashing over to complete the comeback and give the home side the lead for the first time.
Toulouse couldn’t recover, and Glasgow held on to seal an incredible victory that will be remembered as one of the club’s most famous nights.
