Dortmund dominated with 22 shots compared to Bodo/Glimt’s seven, but Kjetil Knutsen’s side earned huge praise from their travelling fans.
Before the match, Dortmund legends Dede and Marco Reus were presented on the pitch, with Reus — now at LA Galaxy — confirmed as a new club ambassador.
Next up, Dortmund visit Tottenham on 20 January, while Bodo/Glimt host Manchester City the same night.
