Folarin Balogun scored for the third Champions League game in a row, giving Monaco a hard-fought win over Galatasaray.
Both teams wasted several clear chances, and Balogun himself missed a few before finally knocking in the winner in the 68th minute after a corner fell his way.
Galatasaray should have taken the lead early on, but Ilkay Gundogan blasted over from close range, and Baris Alper Yilmaz hit the post.
Monaco also struggled in front of goal — Denis Zakaria had a weak penalty saved, and Balogun missed multiple opportunities set up by Takumi Minamino.
But Monaco’s pressure finally paid off when Balogun bundled in Thilo Kehrer’s knockdown to secure their second winof the group stage, pulling them level with Galatasaray on nine points.
