Gary Anderson made it into the second round of the PDC World Championship after a close 3-2 win over Adam Hunt.
Anderson was made to work hard and even went 2-1 down, but he stayed calm and came back to win the last two sets. He said it was a tough first match and praised Hunt for playing well.
Next, Anderson will play either Connor Scutt or Simon Whitlock.
Elsewhere, Welsh amateur David Davies won his debut match 3-0 to earn a big next-round game against defending champion Luke Littler.
Andrew Gilding beat Cam Crabtree 3-1, and Luke Woodhouse came from behind to win 3-1 against Boris Krcmar.
