
Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka says the team is battle ready for tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs final with Democratic Republic of Congo.
The encounter is a must win for the Super Eagles, who are targeting a place at the Intercontinental playoffs.
Eric Chelle’s side underlined their readiness to secure a place at the mini-tournament with a 4-1 thumping of Gabon in the semi-final on Thursday.
Onyeka, who plays for Premier League club, Brentford declared that the Super Eagles are battle ready for the task ahead.
“The players are ready; the players are focused. We will give everything,”Onyeka told Flashscore.com.
“We know how important this game is, so we’ll go all in and by God’s grace, we’ll come out with a victory and Nigerians will be happy.”
The game will kick-off at 8pm Nigerian time.
