Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Manchester City midfielder Sverre Nypan on a season-long loan.
The 18-year-old Norway Under-21 international joined City from Rosenborg in June for £12.5m and now becomes Boro’s fifth summer addition, following the arrivals of Alfie Jones, Callum Brittain, Abdoulaye Kante, and Sontje Hansen.
Nypan could make his debut under Rob Edwards when Boro face Norwich on Saturday, with the team currently boasting two wins from two in their league campaign.
