Real Madrid are a ‘small club’ for skipping the Ballon d’Or gala, claims former France manager Raymond Domenech.
The Frenchman called the La Liga champions a ‘small club’.
According to Domenech, Los Blancos’ decision was pathetic and showed they did not care about others.
DAILY POST reported that following the information that their player, Vinicius Jr had missed out of the prestigious award, Real Madrid skipped the gala in Paris.
Speaking to GOAL.pl, Domenech said, “Real is said, and Real itself wants to be said, that it is a big club.
“Meanwhile, it turned out that it is a small club. Very small! What Real did is absolutely pathetic.
“They showed a lack of respect for football, for the other participants in the gala, for the winners.”
