Chippa United will allow me join a bigger club – Nwabali

Nigeria goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, says Chippa United are ready to allow him move to a bigger club this summer.

Nwabali, was unseeded by Namibian goalkeeper Loydt Kazapua at the start of the season and has not looked back since then.

The 27-year-old was invited by Nigeria for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on the back of his impressive displays for Chippa United.

The former Enyimba shotstopper earned rave reviews for his display at the competition.

Nwabali has been linked with clubs El-Ettifaq, Queens Park Rangers, Union St Gilloise and Kaizer Chiefs.

“The transfer window is going to open soon, but for me, I wish to take a step forward; I don’t know if it will be South Africa or Europe,” Nwabali told

“I played well for my club [Chippa United] this season, they also wished me to go play in a bigger team. Even if it’s South Africa or Europe I will play. I’m not saying goodbye yet, most big teams are looking for me, and most people are looking for me.”
