Sutton boss Morison: De Silva has great Pedigree

Manager Steve Morison is excited by the arrival of Sri Lanka international Dillon De Silva after he joined Sutton United on a two-year deal.

Former QPR winger De Silva, 22, moves as a free agent after beginning last season at Torquay United, before joining Wealdstone and starting seven of the club's last eight games.

"He's got great pedigree and has taken steps back to rise again," Morison told Sutton United's website.

"I'm really pleased he has decided to join us on our journey and hopefully we can rise together.

"He is exciting on the ball in 1v1 situations and likes to go forward when he gets the ball, but also has excellent defensive qualities being dilligent in his work tactically."
