Adams hopes new Ross County signings can settle in quickly

Ross County manager Derek Adams hopes his new signings can settle in quickly and help his team get the points he feels they deserve.

Second-bottom County face a crucial match on Tuesday when they travel to Motherwell, who are three points ahead of them in the Scottish Premiership.

Adams brought in seven new players during the transfer window but has had to deal with the loss of the likes of Connor Randall and Jack Baldwin through injury.

“These players have got problems that have been there throughout the season,” he said in a club video. “It’s come to a time where they need to be assessed.

“Some of them have had operations and they are missing from the squad.

“We had seven missing on Saturday so we had to take in replacements in the window.

“It’s not easy for the ones that are coming in because they are coming into a new football club and a new environment and it takes them time to settle in. They are trying their best.”
