Osimhen will have one year remaining on his current contract next summer and the Serie A champions are desperate to see him to sign an extension.
The Nigeria international is expected to a one-year extension with a release clause of €130–€140m.
De Laurentiis said the new contract is almost done.
“I said it and I repeat, we are getting close to the finish line,” he told CorSport.
Osimhen has scored seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
