Pochettino cancels off days for Chelsea players

Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettiono has cancelled plans to give his players two days off following their 4-1 defeat at Newcastle, Daily Mail reports.

Pochettino watched the game from the stands because of a touchline ban.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for the hosts before Raheem Sterling levelled for the Blues.

But Pochettino’s men fell apart after the break, with captain Reece James shown a record card and Thiago Silva culpable in giving Newcastle what Pochettino called ‘an easy win’.

“These games make me very, very, very, very angry,” Pochettino said.

“We have to show personality and character. We cannot play this type of football.

“Newcastle were not great, but got an easy win.”
